SF31 at the Museum
Repainting SF31 (1)
After SF31's paintwork was tidied up for the 2000 Open Weekend, I decided that a complete repaint for the 2001 season was required. This would simply be a 'holding position' which would see the purple/blue and yellow repainted. The target was to repaint the lower panels for the STES weekend in May and to complete the job for the Museum Open Weekend in August.
Left : Stage 1
The panels below the lower-deck windows were lightly rubbed down and repainted Pageant Blue, thus doing away with the 'blown-in' areas. This has resulted in the yellow lettering appearing a stronger colour than previously.
Right : Stage 2
The panels below the top of the lower-deck windows were all repainted in time for the STES rally.
