|SF31 'On Tour'
Bo'ness - September 2001
|A number of museum-based buses made the trip to Bo'ness, on the banks of the River Forth, to take part in the celebrations to mark the 400th Anniversary of Bo'ness as a port. On the Saturday the buses provided a free bus service round Bo'ness. On its trip around the town, SF31 carried 83 passengers - yes - eighty-three!!! This town service included tackling the notoriously steep Harbour Road hill in addition to the climb around the Deanburn area of the town. On the Sunday, the buses provided a static exhibit at the SRPS Diesel Gala at the railway station.
